Application

- ashless high performance hydraulic fluids
- compressor oils with antiwear properties

Additin RC 9300 is ideally suited for use in ashless hydraulic fluids for which the following high performance demands have to be met:

  • very high oxidation stability (extended service life)
  • high load carrying capacity
  • good demulsification
  • good corrosion protection against steel and non-ferrous metals
  • good filterability
  • excellent thermal and hydrolytic stability

Additionally Additin RC 9300 is also ideally suited for formulating compressor fluids with antiwear properties based on high quality mineral oil as well as PAO and PAO/ester mixtures.

According to requirements, the recommended treatment levels of Additin RC 9300 are in the range of 0.45 to 0.6 % by weight.

Solubility

Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.

Packing unit

200 kg bunghole drums

Storage conditions

In a dry place at room temperature approx. 12 months. This product is liable to crystallization at low temperatures. If this occurs, gentle warming up to 40 - 50 °C with agitation will ensure homogenity of the product without adverse effects. Local overheating - above 60 °C - must be avoided.

Handling

Consult material safety data sheet (MSDS) for additional handling information on Additin RC 9300.
