ADR-V534S is an olefin copolymer (OCP) viscosity modifier (VM) concentrate. The VM treat rate in multigrade crankcase lubricants depends mainly on the specified finished oil properties.
ADR-V534S contains a 35 SSI VM polymer. It has been especially designed to formulate both passenger car and heavy duty diesel multigrade engine oils with a single viscosity modifier concentrate.

Localized high temperatures should be avoided during heating, especially when product cannot be agitated. Electrical, steam or hot oil heating systems with a self-limiting maximum temperature not exceeding 120 Deg.C/250 Deg.F (e.g. low pressure steam at 2 bar(g) or 30 psig) are recommended. For safety reasons free water must be avoided when product is handled above 95 Deg.C/205 Deg.F. Free water is always detrimental to product quality. For finished oil blending, Infineum V534 can be blended using conventional equipment and procedures. Attention must be paid not to heat the oil blends, which contain detergent inhibitors, above 60°C/140°F to prevent the generation of hydrogen sulfide.
