Description
Synesstic™ Alkylated Naphthalenes (AN) represent a unique class of API Group V category fluids that are manufactured through the alkylation of naphthalene with olefins. Synesstic™ AN products offer improved hydrolytic, thermal and oxidative stability versus other Group V fluids. When used as a blendstock, Synesstic™ AN products can improve the performance of a variety of finished lubricants.
Applications
Synesstic™ AN products are particularly suited for use as a blendstocks in synthetic lubricant applications that require high stability under extreme operating conditions. Typical lubricants that incorporate Synesstic™ AN blendstocks can include:
- Compressor Oils
- Engine Oils
- Hydraulic Fluids
- High Temperature Gear and Bearing Industrial Oils
- High Temperature Greases
- Paper Machine Oils
